I-75
at Hopple construction update
HAMILTON COUNTY (Monday, July
28, 2014)
– Upcoming work for
the I-75 at Hopple improvement project will require the following closures this
week:
Closure
of Central Parkway Monday, July 28, Wednesday, July 30 and Friday, Aug. 1,
beginning at 10 p.m., and reopening by 5 a.m. the following day.
Closure
of westbound Hopple Street between Central Parkway and the I-75 ramps from 2
a.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 29. Detour route will be posted. Monmouth and
Marshall will be used for detours via Central Parkway and Colerain Avenue.
To
accommodate a shift of Hopple Street traffic at the I-75 ramps to the south,
the ramps from north and southbound I-75 to Hopple Street will be closed from
10 p.m. Thursday, July 31 to 5 a.m. Friday, Aug. 1. This switch will also
require closure of westbound Hopple Street between Central Parkway and Henshaw
Avenue from 10 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday. Detour routes will be posted.
Monmouth and Marshall will be used for detours via Central Parkway and Colerain
Avenue.
Various
side street flagging operations for material deliveries between 9 a.m. and 3
p.m. daily.
Flagging
operation on Marshall Avenue for bridge construction between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
daily
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists
of the upcoming lane closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction
workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce
their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
