I-75/Hopple
construction update
HAMILTON COUNTY (Monday, Aug.11,
2014)
– Upcoming work for
the I-75 at Hopple improvement project will require the following closures this
week:
Closure
of left lane on northbound and southbound I-75 beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, Aug.
11 through Friday, Aug. 15, with all lanes reopening to traffic by 6 a.m. the
following day. Note: On Tuesday, Aug. 12, lane closure will not be in
place until one hour after completion of Reds’ game.
Closure
of Central Parkway Monday, Aug. 11 through Friday, Aug. 15, beginning at 10
p.m., and reopening by 5 a.m. the following day. Detour for northbound Central
Parkway is Hopple to Colerain to Monmouth to Central Parkway; southbound
detour is Monmouth to Colerain to Hopple.
Closure
of westbound Hopple Street between Central Parkway and the I-75 ramps from 2
a.m. to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12 and Thursday, Aug. 14 for material delivery.
Note: Northbound Central Parkway will be open during westbound Hopple Street
closure.
Lane
closures on Central Parkway between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
Various
side street flagging operations for material deliveries between 9 a.m. and 3
p.m. daily.
Flagging
operation on Marshall Avenue for bridge construction between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
daily
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists
of the upcoming lane closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction
workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce
their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
