Interstate 75/Hopple construction update
 
Hamilton County (Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016) – Work on the Interstate75/Hopple Street project requires the following closures beginning Friday, Aug. 12.
 
Beginning at 10 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, Hopple Street will be closed from Colerain Avenue to west of the ramp from southbound I-75 to Hopple Street until 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13 The ramp from westbound Hopple Street to southbound I-75 will also be closed during this time. In addition, the ramp from Hopple Street to westbound I-74 will reopen to traffic Saturday morning.
 
The following detours will be in place:
 
Ramp from southbound I-75 to Hopple Street
  • Traffic will turn left turn at the signal located at the intersection of Hopple Street. Traffic will not be permitted to turn right at the signal to proceed west on Hopple Street.
  • Eastbound traffic will have the option to turn right on Connector Road to access Central Parkway.
  • Traffic will be able to proceed north or south on Central Parkway to access Marshall Avenue or Monmouth Street to Colerain Avenue to Hopple Street.
Ramp from northbound I-75 to Hopple Street
  • Traffic will turn right at the signal located at the intersection of Hopple Street. Traffic will not be permitted to turn left at the signal to proceed west on Hopple Street.
  • Eastbound traffic will have the option to turn right on Connector Road to access Central Parkway.
  • Traffic will be able to proceed north or south on Central Parkway to access Marshall Avenue or Monmouth Street to Colerain Avenue to Hopple Street. 
Westbound on Hopple Street
  • Traffic will turn left onto Connector Road at the signal located at its intersection with Hopple Street. Traffic will not be permitted to travel west on Hopple Street through the intersection.
  • Westbound traffic on Hopple Street will turn left onto Connector Road to access Central Parkway.
  • Traffic can proceed north or south on Central Parkway to access Marshall Avenue or Monmouth Street to Colerain Avenue to Hopple Street.
Eastbound on Hopple Street
  • Traffic will turn left or right at the signal located at the intersection of Hopple Street and Colerain Avenue. Traffic will not be permitted to travel east on Hopple Street through the intersection.
  • Eastbound traffic on Hopple Street can proceed north or south on Colerain Avenue to access Marshall Avenue or Monmouth Street to Connector Road to Hopple Street.  
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
