I-75/Hopple
construction update
HAMILTON
COUNTY (Friday,
Aug. 22, 2014) – Upcoming work for the I-75/Hopple Street improvement project
will require the following lane and ramp closures on Monday, Aug. 25:
Double lane closures on
northbound I-75, beginning at 9 p.m. and reopening by 6 a.m. the following day,
from the Western Hills Viaduct to just past Hopple Street.
Double lane closures on
southbound I-75 beginning 10 p.m. and reopening by 6 a.m. the following day,
from the I-75/I-74 interchange to just past Hopple Street.
Single lane closure on southbound
I-75 beginning at 8 p.m. and reopening by 6 a.m. the following day, from the
I-75/I-74 interchange to just past Hopple Street.
Single lane closure on northbound
I-75 beginning at 8 p.m. and reopening by 6 a.m. the following day, from the
Western Hills Viaduct to just past Hopple Street.
Closure of the ramp from
northbound I-75 to Hopple Street from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be
in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and ramp
closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the
traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch
for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
