I-75/Hopple
construction update
HAMILTON COUNTY (Monday, Nov.
10, 2014)
– Upcoming work for the I-75/Hopple Street interchange project will require the
following restrictions this week:
Daily lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3
p.m. on Marshall Avenue and various side streets. Traffic maintained by
flagging operations.
Single left lane closure on northbound
I-75 between Hopple and I-74 beginning at 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 until 6 a.m.
the following day.
Single right lane closure on northbound
I-75 between Hopple and I-74 beginning at 8 p.m. with a double lane closure
following at 10 p.m. each night on Tuesday, Nov. 11, Wednesday, Nov. 12 and
Friday, Nov. 14. All lanes will be open
to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
Close the ramp from Central Parkway to
westbound I-74 from 10 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10 until 5 a.m. the following day.
Close the ramp from eastbound I-74 to
Central Parkway, and the right lane of southbound Central Parkway from 10 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 13 with the ramp and right lane open to traffic by 5 a.m. the
following day.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists
of the upcoming lane and ramp closures. To help ensure the safety of the
construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain
alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through
the work zone.
