I-75/Hopple emergency lane closures

Emergency lane closures for Interstate 75/Hopple

Hamilton County (Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016) – Due to emergency drainage repair, lane closures will be required within the contraflow lanes of northbound Interstate 75 today.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m., there will be a double lane closure in the left lanes of northbound I-75 from south of Hopple Street to north of Monmouth. Two lanes of northbound I-75 will remain open, one on the left side continuing north on I-75 and one on the far right providing access to Hopple Street and the I-74 exit. The lane closures will be complete at approximately 3 p.m., or as soon as the repair is complete.

Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the work zone and lane closures. All work is weather dependent.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
