Interstate 75/I-275 ramp lane and
lane closures scheduled

County (Thursday, July 30, 2015) – Bridge and pavement work will require the
following lane and ramp lane restrictions:
Beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, July 31, north and
southbound I-75 at Sharon Road will be reduced to two lanes in each direction until
6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3.
Also, the left lane of northbound I-75 will be
closed between Glendale Milford and Crescentville roads from 7 p.m. Friday,
July 31 until 6 a.m. the following day.
Work to extend the ramp acceleration lanes from
east and westbound I-275 to northbound I-75 will require lane restrictions. Beginning
at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, there will be various lane reductions on the ramps from
east and westbound I-275 to northbound I-75 until 6 a.m. the following day. If the
work is not complete, these lane closures will take place during the same time
on Monday, Aug. 3 and possibly Tuesday, Aug. 4. Traffic will be maintained and
all work is weather dependent.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
and ramp lane closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers
as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their
speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
