Lane Closures Scheduled for I-75 Reconstruction
Warren County (Wednesday, July 7, 2010) – Reconstruction work on Interstate 75 in Warren County calls for the following lane closures this week:
To prepare for a traffic switch on northbound Interstate 75 at the Pennyroyal Road overpass, a single lane closure will be in place, beginning at 7 p.m., followed by a double lane closure at 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 7.
In addition, a single lane closure will be in place on northbound I-75 at the Manchester Road overpass beginning at 7 p.m. with a double lane closure to follow at 10 p.m. This schedule of lane closures will be in place on southbound I-75 at Manchester Road on Thursday, July 8 as well. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 6 a.m. the following day.
This work is part of the widening and reconstruction of I-75 in Butler and Warren counties.
ODOT has a Target: Zero goal for any and all safety hazards. To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through a work zone.
