I-75
bridge work to require lane, ramp closures
Hamilton County (Monday, Feb. 8, 2016) – Various
lane and ramp closures will be in place on Interstate 75 at the State Route
562/Norwood Lateral (mile marker 7) this week.
Northbound
I-75: Single lane closure at 8 p.m. followed by a double lane closure
at 11 p.m.; northbound I-75 ramp to SR 562 closed at 9 p.m., with all lanes
reopened by 6 a.m. the following day, Monday, Feb. 8 and Tuesday, Feb. 9.
Southbound
I-75: Single lane closure at 8 p.m. followed by a double lane closure
at 11 p.m.; ramp from SR 562 to southbound I-75 closed at 9 p.m., with all
lanes reopened by 6 a.m. the following day, Wednesday, Feb. 10 through Friday,
Feb. 12.
All work
depends on weather. Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert
motorists of the upcoming lane and ramp closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
