State Route 122 Lane Closures Scheduled
Warren County (Monday, May 10, 2010) – The left lane of northbound Interstate 75 at State Route 122 will be closed from 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 12 to 6 a.m. Thursday, May 13.
In addition, periodic full closures will be in place on SR 122 at I-75 from 10 p.m. Wednesday, May 12 to 6 a.m. Thursday, May 13. These closures are to accommodate the setting of bridge beams at the I-75/SR122 interchange.
This work is part of the widening and reconstruction of I-75 in Warren County.
Motorists are also advised that rolling road blocks will be in effect on north and southbound I-75 between SR 73 and I-675, beginning at midnight Monday, May 10 for the installation of overhead sign supports. The road blocks will be intermittent and about 15 minutes in length. All lanes are to reopen by 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 11. Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists to the upcoming road blocks. Law enforcement will be on hand to monitor traffic flow.
ODOT has a Target: Zero goal for any and all safety hazards. To help ensure the safety of construction workers and the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through a work zone.
