I-75/Thru the Valley Project update

Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project update

Hamilton County (Friday, Nov. 17, 2017) - Work on the Interstate 75/Thru the Valley project requires the following restrictions:
Various lane closures on north and southbound I-75 and the collector ramps, between Shepherd Avenue and Glendale Milford Road, nightly from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. through Friday, Dec. 15. There will also be various short-term full closures on southbound I-75 and the collector ramps in this area beginning at 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1 through 5 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 2.
In addition, daily lane closures on east and westbound Glendale Milford Road from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. are extended through Friday, Dec. 15 for continued bridge work.
Also, a southbound I-75 traffic shift to the east (center), from north of Shepherd Lane to the Lockland exit, is scheduled the first week of December; this is dependent upon weather and work completed. Southbound I-75 traffic will be placed on temporary or existing pavement with reduced lane widths.
West Forrer Avenue will also be closed to through traffic between Moock and Home avenues beginning Saturday, Dec. 2; again dependent upon weather and work completed. This closure is for future construction of a ramp from Shepherd Avenue to southbound I-75.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
