Lane Closure Scheduled for I-71/Jeremiah Morrow Bridge
Warren County (Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2011) – The left lane of northbound Interstate 71/Jeremiah Morrow Bridge will be closed Saturday, Feb. 18 for concrete placement of a bridge segment.
The closure, the limits of which are located from the northbound rest area to across the bridge, is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition, left lane closures are scheduled daily for northbound I-71 from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. the week of Feb. 20. Traffic delays may be lengthy.
Arrow boards and signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming closure. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
