Interstate 71/MLK
lane closures beginning June 22
Hamilton
County (Monday,
June 22, 2015) – As part of the
work to create a new, full movement interchange at Interstate 71 and Martin
Luther King Drive, lane closures on I-71 will occur the week of June 22, 2015.
The
following are I-71 lane closures between Dana Avenue and William Howard Taft
Road:
Monday,
June 22
·
Northbound
I-71 Single right lane from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. and double right lanes from 9
p.m. to 6 a.m.
·
Southbound
I-71 single left lane from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. and double left lanes from 9
p.m. to 6 a.m.
Tuesday,
June 23
·
Northbound
I-71 Single left lane from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. and double left lanes from 9
p.m. to 6 a.m.
·
Southbound
I-71 single left lane from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. and double left lanes from 9
p.m. to 6 a.m.
Wednesday,
June 24 and Thursday, June 25
·
Southbound
I-71 single right lane from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. and double right lanes from 9
p.m. to 6 a.m.
Monday,
June 22 through Thursday, June 25
·
Westbound
Martin Luther King Dr. between Gilbert Avenue and Reading Road single right
lane closure 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane
closures.
To
help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling
public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped
traffic while passing through the work zone.
