I-71/SR 126 closure set for sign removal work
Hamilton County (Thursday, July 26, 2012) – To accommodate the removal of a damaged sign truss, various lane closures will be in place at the Interstate 71/State Route 126 interchange Friday, July 27.
Work will be performed between 9 p.m. Friday, July 27 to 5 a.m. Saturday, July 28. Beginning at 10 p.m. the ramp from eastbound SR 126 to southbound I-71 will be closed followed by closure of both directions of SR 126 at midnight.
Law enforcement officials will assist with traffic control.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming road closure.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
