I74/Colerain Beekman ramps reopen today

I-74/Colerain/Beekman ramps to reopen to traffic Friday
Hamilton County (Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013)  - After several months of closure to accommodate construction, two ramps at the Interstate 74/Colerain/Beekman interchange will reopen to traffic Friday, Sept. 27.
Work to reconstruct and improve the Interstate 74/Colerain Beekman interchange included the construction of a new southbound ramp from Beekman to westbound I-74, the widening of the ramp from southbound Beekman to eastbound I-74 and the realignment and construction of a new intersection at Colerain and Beekman.
Northbound Beekman remains restricted to one lane in each direction. Ramps that will reopen to traffic Friday are westbound I-74 to Colerain and southbound Beekman to eastbound I-74. (Eastbound I-74 to northbound Beekman will remain closed until a date to be announced.) Once these ramps are reopened to traffic, the permanent closure of the two ramps at I-74 and Spring Grove will be implemented on Friday.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
