I-75/Hopple construction update

Hamilton County (Wednesday, March 16, 2016) – Work to replace concrete barrier wall in the I-75/Hopple Street work zone will require a double left lane closure on southbound I-75 beginning at 11:30 p.m. Thursday, March 17.

The closure, which will include the contra-flow and left local lanes, will be in place from north of the I-75/I-74 interchange. At approximately 4 a.m. Friday, March 18, a right lane closure will be in place on southbound I-75 just south of Hopple.

On Thursday, March 17, a right lane closure will be in place on both north and southbound Central Parkway at the Connector Road, beginning at 9 a.m. The right turn lane from the Connector Road to northbound Central Parkway will also be closed at this time to accommodate traffic signal work.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
