Interstate 275 Repaving and Bridge Work project
update
Hamilton County (Friday,
April 12, 2019) - The Interstate 275 repaving and bridge work
project requires the following restrictions next week:
- Close the contraflow lane on east I-275 from the
Kentucky side of the Combs-Hehl bridge to Four Mile Road daily from 9 a.m.
until 2 p.m. Monday, April 15 through Friday, April 18. Traffic will be
maintained.
- Lane closure on west I-275 from Four Mile Road to
Kellogg Avenue daily from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Traffic will be maintained.
- Various lane closures on east I-275 from the Kentucky
side of the Combs Hehl Bridge to U.S. 52 nightly from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Monday through Saturday morning, April 19. Also, exit Nos. 71 (U.S.
52/East Kellogg Avenue) and 72 (U.S. 52/West Kellogg Avenue) will be
closed during these times. The Kellogg Avenue ramp to east I-275 will also
be closed during these times. The detour uses Exit 59 (Five Mile Road) to
west I-275. The contraflow lane will remain open.
The
following restrictions remain in place for trucks entering Ohio from
Kentucky:
- 10’ wide
- 75’ overall length
- Weight restriction of 120,000 lbs.

Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All
work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
