Interstate 275 Repaving and Bridge Work Project Update

Hamilton County (Friday, Oct. 12, 2018) - The Interstate 275 repaving and bridge work project requires the following lane and ramp closures next week:
  • Various lane closures on Kentucky Route 8/Mary Ingles Highway between River Road and Blangey Road daily from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Oct. 19.
  • Various lane closures on Kellogg Avenue at the I-275 overpass daily from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Oct. 19. 
  • Exit Nos. 71 (U.S. 52/East Kellogg Avenue) and 72 (U.S. 52/West Kellogg Avenue) will be closed nightly from 9 p.m until 6 a.m. the following day on Friday, Oct. 19 and Saturday, Oct. 20. The detour uses the Five Mile Road exit to west I-275. The Kellogg Avenue on ramp to east/north I-275 and the contraflow lane will be open.
The following restrictions are in place for trucks entering Ohio from Kentucky:
  • 10’ wide
  • 75’ overall length
  • Weight restriction of 120,000 lbs.

Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and lane closures. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
