Interstate 275 lane and shoulder closures
scheduled
Clermont County (Friday, Aug. 18, 2017) - Noise wall removal requires various
lane and shoulder closures on Interstate 275 next week.
Beginning at 9 a.m.
Monday, Aug. 21, the right lane and shoulder of southbound I-275 between State Route 32
and SR 125 will be closed. The closure will be used for equipment placement
while crews remove a damaged noise wall panel with a crane. The lane and
shoulder closure will end at approximately 2 p.m. and traffic will be
maintained.
In addition, beginning
at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 22, the right lane of northbound I-275 will be closed between
northbound Beechmont Boulevard and the eastbound SR 32 ramp. The closure will
be used for equipment placement while crews remove a damanged noise wall panel
with a crane. The lane closure will end at approximately 2 p.m. and traffic
will be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
