Interstate 275
lane closures scheduled

County (Thursday,
Aug. 21, 2014) – Pavement work will require various lane closures on
eastbound Interstate 275 this weekend. The closures will be in place from
at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 21 through 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25.
Eastbound
I-275 will be reduced to two lanes from Ronald Reagan Highway to the Blue Rock
Road exit. The left lane of eastbound I-275 has no access to Blue Rock Road or
Ronald Reagan; the center lane is open to traffic and will provide access to
Ronald Reagan, Blue Rock Road and all points east; the right lane will also be
closed to traffic.
Arrow
boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work
zone and lane closures.
To help
ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public,
motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic
while passing through the work zone.
