Interstate 471 lane and ramp closures scheduled
Hamilton County (Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018) - Bridge work requires
the following nightly lane
and ramp closures on Interstate 471:
Close the ramp from I-471 to east U.S. 50 nightly from 9 p.m.
until 6 a.m. the following day, Wednesday, Sept. 19 through Sunday, Sept. 23.
The detour uses north I-471, Sixth Street, Broadway and Fifth Street/Columbia
Parkway.
Also, various lane closures on north and south I-471 at U.S. 50
from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
Closures will begin at 11 p.m. during the Oktoberfest.
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the
upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
