Interstate 471 lane and short-term full closures scheduled

Hamilton County (Friday, June 15, 2018) - Bridge work requires the following various nightly lane closures on Interstate 471 and the I-471 ramps:
  • Various lane closures on east and west Eggleston Avenue from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day, Saturday, June 16 through Friday, June 22.
  • Short-term full closures on north and south I-471 at U.S. 50 between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following day, Monday, June 18 through Friday, June 22. Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers. 
  • Close the ramp from west U.S. 50 to Eggleston Avenue and the Monastery/Third Street intersection under U.S. 50 from 10 p.m. Monday, June 18 until 5 a.m. Tuesday, June 19.
  • Short-term full closures of the ramps from Fifth Street and U.S. 50 to south I-471 from 10 p.m. Wednesday, June 20 until 5 a.m. Thursday, June 21.
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
