I-71 Bridge Deck Replacement project update
Hamilton County (Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017) - Various nightly lane closures on
Interstate 71 and several city streets will be in place for bridge sealing,
vandal fence installation, and bridge deck work starting next week.
Beginning at 8 p.m.
Monday, Aug. 28, various nightly lane closures on Sentinel and Culvert streets
and Eggleston Avenue until 6 a.m. the following day, each week night through
approximately Friday, Sept. 15. A detour will be posted.
In addition, various nightly
lane closures on southbound I-71 and the southbound I-471 ramp from I-71 and
Reading Road/Liberty Street beginning at 10 p.m. through 5 a.m. during this
same timeframe.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
