Interstate 71 bridge deck replacement project
update
Hamilton County (Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017) - The Interstate 71 bridge deck
replacement project requires the following lane and ramp closures for striping
and raised pavement marker installation:
Various lane closures
on southbound I-71 north of the Lytle Tunnel from 10 p.m Friday, Oct. 27 until
5 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 28. Both the Third Street ramp to southbound I-71 and the
Reading Road/Eden Park ramp to southbound I-71 will be closed during this time.
Also, various lane
closures on northbound I-71 north of the Lytle Tunnel from 10 p.m. Sunday, Oct.
29 until 5 a.m Monday, Oct. 30. Both the Second Street ramp to northbound I-71
and the northbound I-71 ramp to Reading Road/Eden Park will be closed during
this time.
In addition, various
lane closures on southbound I-71 north of the Lytle Tunnel from 10 p.m. Monday
until 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of
the upcoming work zone and restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
