Interstate 71 Bridge Deck Replacement
Hamilton County (Wednesday, July 5, 2017) Rebar delivery requires
detouring east and westbound Eggleston Avenue traffic to Culvert Street
from 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 5 to 5 a.m. Thursday, July 6.
In addition, A bridge deck pour requires the closing of the I-471 south ramp from Fifth Street beginning at 9 p.m. Thursday, July 6 until 6 a.m. Friday, July 7.
Also, the right lane of
northbound I-71 will be closed from south of the Lytle Tunnel to north of the
Eggleston Avenue bridge from 9 p.m. Thursday, July 6 until 6 a.m. Friday,
July 7.
Sentinel Street will
also be closed from Fifth Street to Culvert Street from 9 p.m. Thursday until 6
a.m. Friday.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
