Interstate 71 Repaving Project Update

Hamilton County (Friday, February 7, 2020) – Lane and ramp closures will be in effect on Interstate 71 next week for guardrail work.

Various right lane closures on I-71 South from Stewart Road to Kennedy Avenue nightly between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Monday, February 10 through Friday, February 14. Traffic will be maintained.

In addition, the ramp from I-71 South to Red Bank Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Tuesday, February 11 until 5 a.m. Wednesday, February 12. The ramp from Red Bank Road to I-71 South will be closed from 10 p.m. Wednesday until 5 a.m. Thursday, February 13.

Arrow boards and/or signs will alert motorists of the work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone. Remember, move over or slow down.
