Interstate 71 bridge deck replacement project
update
Hamilton County (Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017) - Bridge deck replacement work
requires the following ramp and lane closures next week:
Various lane closures
on Eggleston Avenue, Culvert and Sentinel streets from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Monday, Oct. 16 through Friday, Oct. 20. Traffic will be maintained.
In addition, close the
ramp from southbound I-7 and Reading Road to southbound I-471 each night from
10 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day Tuesday, Oct. 17 through Friday, Oct.
20.
Also, various nightly
lane closures on north and southbound I-71 just north of the Lytle Tunnel from
10 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day Tuesday, Oct. 17 through Friday, Oct.
20.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
