Interstate 71 bridge deck replacement project
update
Hamilton County (Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017) - The I-71 bridge deck
replacement project requires the following lane and ramp closures:
Close the right lane of
northbound I-71, north of the Lytle Tunnel, from 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 until
5 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3. The Second Street on ramp to northbound I-71 will also
be closed during this time.
Close the left and
center lanes of southbound I-71, north of the Lytle Tunnel, from 10 p.m. Friday
until 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4. The southbound I-71 off ramp to Third Street
will be closed during this time. In addition, the Reading Road/Eden Park on ramp
to southbound I-71 will be closed during this time.
Close the right lane of
southbound I-71, north of the Lytle Tunnel, from 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 until 5
a.m. Sunday, Nov. 6.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions. All work is contingent upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
