Interstate 71 deck patching requires various lane closures
 
Hamilton County (Tuesday, May 2, 2017) – Deck patching on the Brent Spence Bridge requires various lane closures on northbound Interstate 71.
 
Tuesday, May 2 through Friday, May 5 - Various left lane closures on northbound I-71 beginning at 10 p.m. each night, with all lanes open to traffic by 5 a.m. the following day.
 
The 4th Street on ramp in Covington, KY will remain open and traffic will be maintained.
 
REMINDER: TRUCK DETOUR - All northbound I-75/I-71 trucks use I-75 to SR 562 back to I-71 or I-275 to I-471 back to I-71 until approximately September, 2017.
 
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zones and various lane closures.
 
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
