Interstate 71 full closure scheduled
Warren County (Thursday, April 17, 2014) – Overhead sign removal will require short-term full closures on northbound Interstate 71.
There will be 15-minute full closures on northbound I-71, just south of the Mason-Montgomery Road exit, from 12:01 a.m. to 4 a.m. Friday, April 25. In addition, the left lane of northbound I-71 will be closed from 8 p.m. Thursday, April 24 to 6 a.m. Friday.
Local law enforcement officers will maintain traffic.
Message boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
