Interstate 71 ramp and lane closures scheduled
Hamilton County (Thursday, April 17, 2014) – As a reminder, film production will require closing the U.S. 42/Dorchester Avenue and the Florence Avenue ramps to southbound Interstate 71.
From 11 p.m. Thursday, April 17 to 5 a.m. Friday, April 18, the ramps will be closed. Local law enforcement officers will maintain traffic.
In addition, there will be hold and release 15-minute closures of the right two lanes of southbound I-71 within the Lytle Tunnel from 11 p.m. Thursday, April 17 to 5 a.m. Friday, April 18. The Downtown-Riverfront St./Third St. exit ramp will remain open to traffic.
Traffic delays may be significant and motorists are encourage to seek alternate routes.
Message boards will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming ramp and lane closures. To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
