Interstate 71 lane and short-term full closures
scheduled for Wilmington Road bridge work
Warren County (Tuesday, April 24, 2018) - Bridge work requires various
lane and short-term full closures on north and south Interstate 71 at the
Wilmington Road bridge (mile marker 36).
Various lane and
short-term full closures on I-71 at the Wilmington Road bridge nightly from 7
p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day, Thursday, April 26 through Wednesday
morning, May 2.
Interstate traffic will
be maintained with law enforcement officers and two-way traffic will be
maintained on the bridge.
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the
upcoming work zone and lane restrictions. All work is contingent upon the
weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
