Interstate 71 lane and short-term full closures
scheduled
Warren County (Friday, Dec. 15, 2017) - Bridge work requires various
lane and short-term full closures on Interstate 71 at the Wilmington Road
bridge (mile marker 36.5 to 37) next week.
Various lane closures
on north and south I-71 at the Wilmington Road bridge each night from 7 p.m.
until 9 a.m., Monday, Dec. 18 through Friday morning, Dec. 22.
In addition, various
short-term full closures on north and south I-71 at the Wilmington Road bridge
between 12:01 a.m. and 5 a.m. Monday through Friday. Traffic will be maintained
with local law enforcement officers.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions. All work is contingent upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
