Interstate 71 lane closures scheduled for bridge
work
Warren County (Monday,
March 25, 2019) - Bridge work requires the following restrictions
on Interstate 71:
Beginning Monday, April
1, various lane closures on north and south I-71 at the Wilmington, Olive
Branch, Clarksville and Harveysburg roads overpasses.
Lane closures will take
place nightly, Sunday night through Saturday morning, beginning at 7 p.m. until
9 a.m. the following day, through approximately Sunday, June 30. Traffic will
be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming restrictions. All work is contingent
upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
