Interstate 71 lane closures scheduled for
traffic shift
Warren County - (Thursday, July 6, 2017) Various lane closures on north and
southbound I-71 between State Route 741 and SR 48. Nightly lane closures will
be from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day Wednesday, July 12 and Thursday,
July 13. Traffic will be maintained.
Once complete Friday
morning, lanes will be shifted to the inside (median), to allow work on the
outside (shoulder) areas. Lanes will be reduced to 11 feet. This traffic
pattern will remain in place until mid to late August.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and
restrictions.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
