Interstate 71 lane closures scheduled
Warren County (Friday, Nov. 8, 2013) – Pavement work on Interstate 71 at Gum Run, mile marker 38.5 just north of Wilmington Road, will require lane closures.
On Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. the left lane of north and southbound I-71 will be closed until 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. These same lane closures and times will also be in effect each night on Thursday to Friday, Nov. 15 and Friday to Saturday, Nov. 16.
Arrow boards and signs are in place prior to the work zone to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
