Interstate 71 lane closures scheduled
Warren and Clinton counties (Monday, March 25, 2019) - Resurfacing
and guardrail replacement on Interstate 71 require the following restrictions:
Beginning Monday, April
1, various lane closures on north and south I-71 from State Route 48 in Warren
County to approximately Smith Road in Clinton County. Work will also take place
on the ramps at SR 48, SR 123, Wilmington Road and SR 73.
Lane closures will take
place nightly, Monday through Friday, beginning at 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. the
following day. Traffic will be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming restrictions. All work is contingent
upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
