Interstate 71 paving project update - various city street lane closures

Hamilton County (Friday, March 2, 2018) - Overhead sign work on the Interstate 71 paving project requires the following city street lane closures from 9 a.m. untill 3 p.m., Monday, March 12 through Friday, March 16:
  • Close the right lane of northbound Gilbert Avenue from Court Street to the northbound I-71 on ramp;
  • Close the left lane of westbound Eden Park Drive under I-71;
  • Close the right lane of southbound Reading Road from McGregor to Dorchester avenue;
  • Alternating lane closures at the intersection of Reading Road/Elsinore Place and the northbound I-71 ramp.
Traffic will be maintained. Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contintent upon weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
