Interstate 71 paving project update
Hamilton
County (Monday, July 24, 2017) -
Pavement work requires nightly lane and ramp closures on Interstate
71.
Various nightly lane
closures on southbound I-71 beginning at 8 p.m. tonight, Monday, July 24 through
6 a.m. Tuesday, July 25, between Dana Avenue and Ridge Road. Continuous left
lane closure on southbound I-71 between Dana Avenue and Ridge Road beginning at
8 p.m. Friday, July 28 through 6 a.m. Monday, July 31.
In addition, the Ridge
Road/Kennedy Avenue ramp to southbound I-71 will be closed beginning at 10 p.m.
Friday, July 28 through 5 a.m. Monday, July 31.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone
restrictions and ramp closure.
To help ensure the safety
of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should
remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing
through the work zone.
