Interstate 71 repaving project
Pavement work requires various lane closures

Hamilton County (Friday, April 14, 2017) – Pavement work on Interstate 71 requires the following restrictions on I-71 between Ridge Road and Victory Parkway next week.

Monday, April 17 through Friday, April 21: Various lane closures on southbound I-71 beginning at 8 p.m. each night until 6 a.m. the following day. Traffic will be maintained.

Also, deck patching requires various right lane closures on southbound I-71 from Reading Road to just north of the Lytle Tunnel from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, April 17, Tuesday, April 18 and Wednesday, April 19.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures. All work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
