Interstate 71 ramp and city street closures scheduled for bridge/pavement work
Hamilton County (Thursday, March 23, 2017) – Bridge work requires short-term closures of the ramps from southbound Interstate 71 and Reading Road to southbound I-471 from 10 p.m. Thursday, March 23 until 6 a.m. Friday, March 24.
Once complete at those locations, the closure will move to Eggleston Avenue, with traffic detoured to Culvert Street. Once complete at that location, the closure will move to Culvert Street and Sentinel Street, with traffic detoured to Eggleston Avenue.
Ramp closures will be short-term and all closures will be complete by 6am. Traffic will be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming ramp and street closures.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
