Interstate 71 repaving project update

Hamilton County (Tuesday, March 13, 2018) - Work on the Interstate 71 repaving project requires the following short-term (15-minute duration) full closures of various ramps:
  • Short-term full closure of the eastbound SR 562 to Ridge Road ramp between 10 p.m. Tuesday, March 13 and 5 a.m. Wednesday, March 14;
  • Short-term full closure of the eastbound SR 562 to northbound I-71 ramp between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. Wednesday; 
  • Short-term full closure of the northbound I-71 to westbound SR 562 ramp between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. Wednesday.
Traffic will be maintained with law enforcement officers and only one ramp will be closed at a time. 
Arrow boards and/or signs are in place to alert motorists of the upcoming work zone and restrictions. All work is contingent upon the weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
