Interstate 71 repaving project update
Hamilton County (Friday, Sept. 22, 2017) - Various single lane closures
on Smith Road near the Interstate 71 ramps from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily for curb
patching, Monday, Sept. 25 through Friday, Sept. 29.
Also, various nightly
lane closures on southbound I-71 from Ridge Road to Victory Parkway to shift
southbound I-71 traffic to its original configuration following bridge overlay
work. Lane closures will be from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25 through
Saturday, Sept. 30. Traffic will be maintained.
Arrow boards and/or signs
will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
