Interstate 71 repaving project
Lane and ramp closures scheduled
Hamilton County (Thursday, May 18, 2017) – Paving work on Interstate 71 requires the following lane and ramp closures.
Friday, May 19 – Close the ramps from State Route 562, Dana Avenue and Smith/Edmondson roads to southbound I-71 from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Saturday, May 20.
Monday, May 22 through Friday, May 26 – Various lane closures on southbound Interstate 71 between Ridge Avenue and Victory Parkway beginning at 8 p.m. each night until 6 a.m. the following day.
Monday, May 22 – Close the ramp from eastbound SR 562 to southbound I-71 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Tuesday, May 23.
Tuesday, May 23 – Close the ramp from Dana Avenue to southbound I-71 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday, May 24.
Wednesday, May 24 – Close the ramp from Smith/Edmondson roads to southbound I-71 from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday, May 25.
Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane and ramp closures. All work is dependent upon weather.
To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
