Interstate 71/Jeremiah Morrow Bridge lane and
shoulder closures scheduled
Warren County (Wednesday,
July 10, 2019) - Bridge inspection requires various lane and
shoulder closures on north and south Interstate 71 across the Jeremiah Morrow
Bridge beginning this weekend.
Saturday, July 13 - close the right lane of south I-71 across the bridge from 6
a.m. until 4 p.m. If the inspection finishes early, crews will relocate to the
right lane of north I-71 and begin inspection across the bridge.
Sunday, July 14 -
close the right lane of north I-71 across the bridge from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Monday, July 15 and Tuesday, July 16 - various shoulder closures on north and south I-71 across the
Jeremiah Morrow bridge daily from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will alert motorists of the upcoming lane and shoulder closures. All work
is contingent upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone. Move over or slow down.
