Interstate 71/MLK project update
Hamilton County (Wednesday, June 21, 2017) - Work on I-71/MLK project
requires the following lane closures starting tomorrow.
Short term full
closures are required on north and southbound I-71 at the MLK bridge beginning
at 11 p.m. Thursday, June 22 until 5 a.m. the next morning.
In addition, a single
lane closure is required on northbound I-71 between Victory Parkway and
Dana Avenue from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 24.
Traffic will be
maintained and all work is contingent upon weather.
Arrow boards and/or
signs will be in place to alert motorists of the upcoming lane closures.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
