Interstate 71/MLK project update

Hamilton County (Friday, March 24, 2017) – Bridge work on the Interstate 71/MLK project requires the following restrictions next week.

Monday, March 27 and Tuesday, March 28: Short-term full closures on north and southbound I-71 between McMillan Street and Blair Avenue each night from 11:30 p.m. until 5 a.m. Local law enforcement officers will maintain traffic.

Also, various right lane closures on north and southbound I-71 from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. Monday and Tuesday. Traffic will be maintained.

Arrow boards and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the short-term full and lane closures. All work is dependent upon weather.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through the work zone.
