Interstate 71/MLK project

– Work on the Interstate
71/MLK project requires the following restrictions beginning next week:
closures on east and westbound Martin Luther King Drive between Burnett Avenue
and Mentor Street nightly from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., Monday, May 22 through
Friday, May 26.
Also, single lane
closure on northbound Gilbert Avenue from Lincoln Avenue to Martin Luther King
Drive from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, May 22.
and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the work zone and lane
closures. All work is dependent upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
