Lane and short-term full closures
Hamilton County
(Monday, May 22, 2017)
– Work on the Interstate
71/MLK project requires the following restrictions this week:
Short-term full
closures of north and southbound I-71 between McMillan Street and Martin Luther
King Drive beginning each night at 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day on Wednesday,
May 24 and Thursday, May 25.
Also, single lane
closures on east and westbound Martin Luther King Drive from Burnett Avenue to
Mentor Street beginning each night at 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day the
week of May 22.
Arrow boards
and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the work zone and lane
closures. All work is dependent upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
For ongoing
traffic, construction and weather-related information, please check www.OHGO.com.
