Interstate 71/MLK project
update
Lane closures
Hamilton County
(Thursday, May 25,
2017) – Work on the
Interstate 71/MLK project requires the following restrictions next week:
Various lane
closures on northbound I-71 between McMillan Street and Dana Avenue each night from
7 p.m. until 6 a.m., Tuesday, May 30 through Friday, June 2.
In addition,
various lane closures on southbound I-71 between Dana Avenue and Martin Luther
King Drive each night from 7 p.m. until 6 a.m., Thursday, June 1 through
Saturday, June 3.
Also, single lane
closures on east and westbound Martin Luther King Drive from Burnett Avenue to
Mentor Street beginning each night at 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. the following day the
week of May 22.
Arrow boards
and/or signs will be in place to alert motorists of the work zone and lane
closures. All work is dependent upon weather.
To help ensure the
safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists
should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while
passing through the work zone.
